I’ll have to buy pair probes that matches with the scope. According to specification of the scope, input impedence is 1 Mohm (plus minus 2%), capacitance is 20pF (plus minus 2pF). The original probe is P6109B 10x 100MHz.
Specifications

Attenuation: 10x
Bandwidth Megahertz (MHz): 100
Comp. Range Picofarads (pF): 15 to 35
System Input Resistance (MΩ): 10
Typical Input C Picofarads (pF): 13
Input RMS CATI CATII (Volts): 400 VRMS CAT I, 300 VRMS CAT II
Readout: x
Scope/Product: 2211, 2221, 2224, 2230, 2232, 2235A, 2236A, 2245A, 2246A, 2247A, 2252, TAS455, TAS465, TAS475, TDS310, TDS320, TDS340, TDS340A

Genuine Tektronix probe is around $200 which is more expensive than this 22 years old scope. It’s a quite intriguing fact.

  1. Hi, I am curious as to how much this unit cost you. I am looking at purchasing one. Would you recommend it?

I was looking for a used Rigol DS1052 but couldn’t find it. I bought it from eBay seller for $170 USD with domestic shipping and handling fee. This oscilloscope is big and heavy. I wouldn’t buy it if the seller was in a foreign country due to international shipping fee and imported tax.
