Simple trigonometry formula in right angle triangle provides angle verse distance ratio.
I used tan(theta) = height / base

The base length sets as 25 cm from the bending point of strut. I could make a improvised angle gauge with one A4 paper and a wooden bar.

Using the level gauge to prevent excessive vertical bending of strut while it’s bent.
