Journal of 2014/3/16

The table saw conversion kit worked out. Minor issue I found is that the plywood and wood bar develops little friction which causes rough cut sometimes. I might build or buy a metal plate and bar to fix this issue.

To do list:
Blade guard
Power unit

I gotta decide either building a complete power assembly that has foot pedal switch, one fuse, and secondary safety switch – the rating should 220V AC, maximum 10A – or buying a simple outlet that has on/off switch for a while.

I cut two 600 mm by 400 mm plywood pieces and made four 6 mm holes, on the two plates and power saw frame.
The thinner plate covers the bolts head so that it makes flat surface.

Four bolts, washers, and nuts secure the power saw on the base plate.

I only used the trigger lock.
