Journal of 3/17/2013

I installed the tent on top of the earth floor without any water protection material, i.e. a sheet of plastic, to test how the earth floor handles ground water during rainy days. Because rain water is protected by concrete walls.

I was going to build a two meters by two meters, height of two meters. But I decided just to build a small tent for sleeping cause I wouldn’t waste materials for temporary structures. My main priority at the moment is to master basic building techniques for permanent structure that I gonna build later on.
Next structures will be few small geodesic domes and a real size dome to replace the tent.

The tent is finished. Now I’ll be able to sleep in the village house and work ten to twelve hours per day. Daytime gets longer and longer as time goes by. Hopefully it will speed up the project.
